Ray M. Allen, Jr., M.D. is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease. Growing up in Memphis, he attended Central High School and subsequently Princeton University.

Doctor Allen joined Cardiology Specialists of
Memphis after completing his medical training at
the University of Tennessee in 1987.

He is a member of the Memphis and Shelby County Medical Society; is past president of the American Heart Association, Shelby County Division; a member of the Tennessee and American Medical Associations; and a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology.

Doctor Allen practices clinical and consultative cardiology with a special focus on cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty, and coronary stenting for the treatment of coronary disease.

Doctor Allen is married with three children and
enjoys hiking and fishing. He is active in the Boy Scouts of America and the Nature Conservancy.
