David H. S. Iansmith, M.D., Ph.D., FRMS, joined Cardiology Specialists of Memphis in July 2006.

A graduate of the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences, Doctor Iansmith is a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, American Society of Internal Medicine, American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, American Heart Association, the Society of Sigma XI, and is a Fellow with the Royal Microscopic Society. 

Doctor Iansmith is the author or co-author of over two dozen major dissertations and publications in pharmacology and physiolology related to his specialty in cardiology.

Doctor Iansmith is married with two children.
